Feedback
- For the first time after many years when I returned home I could have a relaxed conversation with my son and he was happy to see me relaxed and insisted that I should continue with yoga.
- When I signed up I was a bit incredulous of the benefits of yoga, but I was wrong. I was reborn with yoga, accepting my new rhythms and limits.
- What I am learning with yoga: the unity of body, mind and soul; the importance to stop, feel and accept the sensations of the body and to search for inner peace. When I have physical pain due to surgery or therapy, I cope better with the suffering, and I learn not to focus my mind on the pain.
- My learning with yoga: serenity, calm, mental relaxation and clarity; knowing there is something I can do to manage the pain; a gratifying sense of mastery of my life; responsibility and awareness; ability to live in the present; slow down and stop; less fear, the feeling of having found a brotherhood in a ‘protected community’.
