Since February 2022, the online Mantra Sadhana is being held every morning for one hour. In the presentation, the text of each chant in Roman and Devanagri is inserted, so people can read, listen and look at the beautiful pictures. The chanting of stotras, bhajans and kirtan keeps improving day by day and the effect of the practice is felt by all. Participants of this sadhana feel closer to the ashram, to Swamiji and Sri Swamiji. They start their day with positivity, optimism and a lot of energy. All have become a true mandali or community. The day has a new focus and is strongly connected to the Satyananda Yoga tradition and to Guru. The sankalpa is the yearly sadhana given by Swamiji every January, along with the continuous sankalpa to serve the Guru’s mission.
From three aspirants keen to practise chanting together, the sadhana has spread throughout the world to Canada, Croatia, France, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Romania, Sweden, USA and many more places. The Mandali is also present on social media providing regular information and updates of the Satyananda Yoga tradition.
The Mantra Sadhana with daily chanting of mantras, stotras, bhajans and kirtans is another world for us, different from our daily duties and activities. It enriches us spiritually and emotionally. It brings balance and joy into our lives, makes us better, more aware and disciplined. It gives us the inspiration we need in this material world to find meaning in our existence. We thank everyone who contributed to the creation of Satyam Yoga Prasad, without which the Mantra Sadhana would not have been possible.

Ever since we started the sadhana it has become a highlight of my days. It works on so many levels: it unites us as a community; keeps the connection with our tradition and Guru very strong, tunes us to much finer vibrations and helps us start every day in a positive and optimistic way. In essence, it is our daily portion of compressed divine grace and blessing.

Our mantra sadhana started in a very important period of my life. I just got married and was dreaming of a child. Practising the mantra sadhana every morning blessed me with a feeling of deep connection to the ashram and Guru, which helped me have clear thoughts, patience, the ability to enjoy every moment, be present and positive even in challenging and problematic situations. I am grateful for the blessings I received. I had a very light pregnancy and a wonderful birth to a healthy baby girl. She is beautiful and always observing everything with curiosity, smiling and laughing.

Through the Mantra Sadhana, I was able to channel my emotions, transform tension and negativity into contentment, love and optimism. This practice fills me with a sense of gratitude for what I have, develops my discipline, deepens my sincerity, and brings out the positive aspects of my character. I take the opportunity to lead the practice as an opportunity to connect with the ashram and become a conduit for the Guru’s energy. Mantra Sadhana is a living manifestation of Sri Swamiji’s teachings, and I consider my daily contact with it a blessing.

In the material world that we are living in there is no better way to start the day than with the energies and protective powers of the mantras. When I have the opportunity to participate in the morning Mantra Sadhana, I feel very peaceful and shielded from all the turbulence in life. I feel more strongly the support of the Gods and Guru.
